I’m very pleased to announce that our project, www.EvitaAglomeratia.ro is now live!
Together with a several people who joined my Basic Programming course, we developed EvitaAglomeratia.ro. This tool helps you avoid crowded places when going grocery shopping, thus reducing the risk of exposure to the COVID-19 virus.
How does it work? Simple, find your favorite hypermarket from the list and schedule your visit in advance. Others can see your visit and plan for a different day/time to avoid crowds. Currently, we support most hypermarkets at national level. In case you don’t find your favorite, potential crowded store, you can suggest new stores .

Unfortunately, the Coronavirus cases are on the rise in Romania and we need a smarter approach to overcome this. Clearly, our current behavior is not enough. We really hope many people will use this tool can help all of us change our dangerous habits in these challenging times and keep us a bit safer. The more people use it, the bigger the impact it has.
